JSPWiki v2.0.52

Difference between version 22 and version 21:
Lines 26-30 were replaced by lines 26-33
- (2 quenches during an expt. in Decemper 2006. A user claimed
- that the switch heater power is too low when using the lambda
- stage. We did a test in February 2007, with the following results:
- No quench up to 9 Tesla. With the coil at 4 K the switch heater power
- needed is about 0.8 W. The maximum switch heater power is 1.4 W.
+ (2 quenches during an expt. in December 2006). The reson is not
+ yet clear. A user claimed that the switch heater power is too low
+ when using the lambda stage. It seems that this is not the case
+ (see [MA09switchHeater]).
+ A test in February 2007, showed no quench up to 9 Tesla. However,
+ if we extrapolate the force measurements at 5 Tesla, we get forces
+ near 1000 kN both vertically and horizontally (shortened distance
+ sample - mono).
