Removing the Mixture

  • close valve 13A, open valves 9 and 3
  • set the mixing chamber heater and the still heater to 19 mW
  • the VTI set temperature can be set to 10 K, as soon as the dump pressure is beyond 90 % of its original value (630 mbar on DIL1, 500 mbar on DIL2)
  • wait until the pressure on P1 drops below 0.1 mbar, then close all valves, and stop the 3He pump.
