Removing the Mixture

It is highly recommended to use the automatic scripts in SEA. You might choose between:

• remove_only: remove the mixture and stay at 10 K
• remove_and_warmup: remove and warm up to 80 K for removing the stick
• remove_and_condense
• remove_and_sorbump

Manual procedure:

• close valve 13A, open valves 9 and 3
• set the mixing chamber heater and the still heater to 19 mW
• set the VTI temperature to 4 K
• the VTI set temperature can be set to 10 K, as soon as the dump pressure is beyond 90 % of its original value (630 mbar on DIL1, 500 mbar on DIL2)
• wait until the pressure on P1 drops below 0.1 mbar, then close all valves, and stop the 3He pump.
