Coaxial current lead terminal on tall cryostat services neck (this neck also features the VTI needle valve): lnner terminal post l+ (start of entire magnet) (red wire from magnet) Outer terminal post 1- (end of entire magnet) (black wire from magnet)

ASYMMETRIC ENERGISATION (4 TESLA) Co-axial current lead terminal on short cryostat services neck (this neck also features the syphon entry port):lnner terminal post l+ (start of selected coils)

(blue wire from magnet)

Outer terminal post 1+ (end of selected coils) (brown wire from magnet)

Ten pin connector on services neck with syphon entry :Connections to persistent mode switch heaters.

Ten pin connector on services neck with lambda point refrigerator needle valve and pumping line:Connections to carbon resistors for monitoring lambda point refrigerator.

Ten pin connector on services neck with VTI needle valve :Connections to helium level probe.

VTI WIRING.

Ten pin connectors on VTI top plate :VTI heat exchanger thermometry and non-inductive heater.

Ten pin connector on cryostat top plate :Heater and carbon resistor for clearing VTI needle valve blockages.
