ILL1 is an orange cryostat working without problems in general.

LHe hold time with stable temperature below 50 K: 2.5 days

Problems

  • after changing a burned capillary heater, there is a small problem below 10 K: it takes a long time until normal values of the needle valve can be used to reach the minimum temperature.
