Weak Link or not?
Weak Link
- Temperatures 0.1 K ... ~ 4 K accessible, with stable temperature control while the mixture is in.
- Base T slightly increased (~ 10 mK). May be more, when the sample is heated by neutrons, a changing magnetic field or vibrations.
- Temperature changes are quicker
Strong Link
- Base T slightly improved, especially when heat sources are present (neutrons, eddy currents).
- Stable Temperature between 0.8 K .. 2 K is not possible.
- Temperature changes between T < 0.8 K and T > 2 K need time consuming interventions (removing / condensing mixture).
- Base T slightly improved, but the T accuracy might be less than with the weak link.
