The FRM-II in Garching near Munich operates a neutron source as user facility. The access for internal and external users will be managed through an Internet portal system. Requiring a modular system for interactive communication with external guests we have chosen PHP-Nuke as the basic system. By this basic features like Newsletter, FAQ, Articles and personal account are provided. Own modules rely on a generic module generator (named clone module) for user input and feedback. Special modules for time scheduling, evaluation of the user inputs and producing printouts in pdf-files have been written. The entire management from proposal submission, referee process, scheduling, access organization, reporting and publication lists can be handled by this system.
