This past year has brought many exciting changes to the NeXus standard. Formation of the NeXus International Advisory Committee (NIAC) has lead to the solidification of class definitions. In addition, a new version of the Application Program Interface (API) was implemented with support for additional languages. An overview of the current NeXus standard, the API, and a cook's tour of NeXus enabled applications will be presented.
